Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday, in line with a rise in international gold rates.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold climbed by Rs2,000 per tola to reach Rs461,936.
The price of 10-gram gold also went up by Rs. 1,715, taking the rate to Rs. 396,035. Gold closed at Rs459,936 per tola on Saturday after falling by Rs500 during the session.

In the international market, gold prices rose by $20 to $4,395 per ounce. The quoted rate included a $20 premium.
Silver prices also increased in the local market. The price rose by Rs80 per tola to reach Rs7,029.
