The Punjab Education Department has decided to end manual admissions in colleges across the province and move the entire admission process online from 2027, according to the report.
Director Public Instruction (DPI) Punjab Dr Ansar Azhar said the move is part of the Punjab government’s paperless policy.
Under the new system, colleges will no longer provide printed prospectuses or admission forms. Students will have to complete the admission process through the online system.

College fee payments will also be made online. Dr Ansar Azhar advised students and parents to use the e-system instead of visiting colleges and standing in queues.
He said the online fee payment system is already in place, while the remaining admission-related processes will also be shifted online from the next academic year.
