Punjab govt announces schools reopening date

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has instructed all public and private schools across the province to remain closed until August 24, warning school administrations not to reopen before the officially announced date.

The minister reminded schools to strictly follow the Punjab government’s summer vacation schedule, saying no institution should resume academic activities before August 24 under any circumstances.

He also said the Punjab government has dedicated one month of the summer holidays to remedial learning camps. These camps are intended to help students address learning gaps and strengthen their academic performance before the start of the new academic session.
