HEC offers fully funded BS scholarships in Pakistan

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan has opened applications for fully funded BS scholarships for students from Central Asia and other friendly countries.

The scholarships are being offered under the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarship for Central Asia and Friendly Countries. Selected students will be able to pursue undergraduate BS programs at various universities across Pakistan.

The last date to submit applications is 10 August 2026.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship covers key academic and living expenses for successful applicants. These include tuition fees, free accommodation, a monthly stipend, one-time travel and airfare during the degree program, and settlement support at the start of studies.

Available Fields

Applicants can choose from a wide range of disciplines, including Engineering and Technology, Computer Science and IT, Allied Health Sciences, Business and Economics, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Food Security, International Relations, Media, and Languages.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have GCE A Levels or an equivalent qualification with at least 60 percent marks. Those applying for Engineering programs must have secured at least 65 percent marks.

Students selected under the scholarship will also need to obtain an Equivalence Certificate from IBCC Pakistan after being awarded the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarship.
