Pakistan announces Hajj 2027 registration

Pakistan will start accepting registrations for Hajj 2027 from June 22, 2026, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced.

The registration process will be carried out in line with the guidelines issued by the Saudi authorities. Applicants can register online through the ministry’s official Hajj portal by creating a personal account and entering their own details as well as the information of other members in their group.

The ministry has advised applicants to form groups made up only of family members.

A passport will not be needed at the registration stage. However, pilgrims must have a valid passport when Hajj bookings begin. The passport should remain valid until at least November 16, 2027.

According to the ministry, only those who complete the registration process will be eligible to book Hajj 2027. Registered applicants will later have the option to choose either the government or private Hajj scheme.

Overseas Pakistanis intending to perform Hajj will also be able to register. The ministry has confirmed that there will be no fee for the registration process.

The government will announce the Hajj Policy 2027 at a later stage, including the package cost, booking schedule and other details. Bookings will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and will continue until Pakistan’s allocated Hajj quota is exhausted.
