KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan saw a sharp rise on Tuesday as rates increased in line with gains in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola went up by Rs4,600, reaching Rs476,362 after the latest increase. The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs3,944 to Rs408,403.
In the global market, gold gained 46 US dollars per ounce, climbing to 4,540 dollars, which pushed domestic prices higher.
