KARACHI: Gold prices recorded a sharp rise across Pakistan on Monday as rates increased in both local bullion markets and retail trade.
The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of one tola of gold went up by Rs4,000, reaching Rs477,762 in the domestic market.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,943, bringing it to Rs409,603, showing continued fluctuations in local bullion rates.

Market observers said the surge in domestic prices was linked to gains in the international market, where gold rose by $46 per ounce to $4,554 per ounce.
Traders noted that Pakistan’s gold market continues to follow global trends, with international price movements directly influencing local rates across the country.
