The district administration has declared a public holiday on April 1, 2026, throughout Sahiwal district to mark the Urs of Hazrat Baba Muhammad Pannah.
An official notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Capt (R) Sami Ullah Farooq stated that the holiday will be observed within the revenue limits of the district, especially in connection with Urs celebrations in Kameer, Sahiwal.
The administration made it clear that the holiday will not affect ongoing examination schedules of the Education Department or any other duties assigned by the competent authority.

The order, issued on March 27, 2026, has been shared with all relevant government departments to ensure proper implementation across the district.
