Govt rejects Hajj 2026 flight suspension rumors

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has rejected reports claiming that Hajj flights have been suspended or delayed, assuring that preparations for Hajj 2026 are going ahead as planned. The ministry said pilgrims have no reason to worry.

A spokesperson for the ministry said, “Recent rumors circulating on social media and through unverified sources regarding the postponement or cancellation of Hajj flights are completely baseless and misleading.” The spokesperson added that despite global challenges, arrangements for Hajj 2026 are continuing without disruption.

The ministry is coordinating closely with all relevant agencies to ensure that all preparations for Pakistani pilgrims are completed on time. Accommodation bookings, transport, meals, and other facilities in Makkah and Madinah are being finalized to provide pilgrims with smooth and comfortable services.

New systems are also being introduced to improve mobility, accommodation, and medical facilities during Hajj. The ministry is maintaining constant contact with Saudi authorities to ensure that all arrangements meet international standards and stay on schedule.
