The Islamabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory for Friday, March 13, warning citizens of multiple road closures across the federal capital.
According to the advisory, access to the Red Zone will be allowed only via Margalla Road, while all other entry points will remain closed. Roads leading to and from Iran Avenue will also remain shut.
The Chand Tara Flyover from Srinagar Highway to Serena Chowk will remain closed. Roads from Racep Tayyip Erdogan Flyover towards Jinnah Avenue, Kulsum Plaza Chowk, the Seventh Avenue Bridge, and Fazl-e-Haq Road up to GEO Chowk will also be inaccessible.
The road from Haji Camp Chowk to Islamabad Chowk will stay closed. IJP Road from Gandam Godam to Faqir Aipee Road will also remain closed, along with the service road from NESCOM towards I-10.
Traffic from I-8 towards IJP Double Road will be closed in both directions. Club Road from Rawal Dam Chowk to Kashmir Chowk and Park Road from Shehzad Town to Musharraf Chowk will be closed on one side.
The traffic police have advised residents to use alternate routes, avoid unnecessary travel, and leave early to prevent delays.
