Karachi Traffic Police reopen several roads for light vehicles

Karachi Traffic Police have reopened several roads in the city for light traffic, bringing some relief to commuters in busy areas.

Officials said the route from Jinnah Bridge to PIDC has been opened for light vehicles. The road from Phatak on Mai Kolachi Road to Jinnah Bridge is now also accessible to small vehicles. In addition, the stretch between PIDC and Sultanabad has been opened for light traffic.

However, the road from the Sultanabad Traffic Section to Mai Kolachi Phatak is still closed for vehicles.

Traffic police also stated that M.T. Khan Road remains shut. Barriers have been placed on the road, and police officers are present in the area to manage the situation. The PIDC Bridge has also been blocked with containers to stop traffic from passing through.

Authorities have advised drivers to follow traffic regulations and use alternative routes where roads are still closed.
