Apple announces iPhone 17 E with advanced features

Apple Inc. has introduced its most budget-friendly iPhone of the year, the iPhone 17 E, offering strong performance in a compact form.

The phone runs on the new A19 chip and brings enhanced artificial intelligence features. It sports a 6.1-inch OLED display and supports MagSafe, making it an appealing choice for buyers looking for solid features at a lower price.

In terms of design, the iPhone 17 E looks similar to last year’s iPhone 16 E but comes with improved internal hardware. It keeps the familiar notch for the 12MP front camera. On the back, there is a single 48MP camera that supports 4K video recording and improved portrait shots.

Apple’s in-house C1X modem delivers faster internet performance, while Ceramic Shield 2 adds stronger protection against drops.

Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, resistance to water and dust, satellite connectivity, eSIM support, and iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence capabilities.

The starting price is $599 for the 256GB version, while the 512GB model is priced at $799. The iPhone 17 E will go on sale worldwide from March 11 and will be offered in black, white, and a new soft pink shade.
