Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) prices have been raised by 0.59 percent, as reported on Friday.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification announcing the revised LNG rates for February.
According to the notification, the price of LNG on the Sui Southern system has increased by $0.06 per MMBTU. A similar increase of $0.06 per MMBTU has also been applied to the Sui Northern system.
Following the revision, the new LNG price for Sui Northern has been set at $11.33 per MMBTU, while the new price for Sui Southern has been fixed at $10.27 per MMBTU.
Officials stated that the increase in LNG prices is due to higher terminal charges.
