Authorities in Islamabad have seized more than 300 kilograms of drugs from educational institutions over the past three years.
A total of 263 people have been arrested in intelligence-led raids targeting drug trafficking near schools and colleges.
In 2023, officials recovered 3.31 kilograms of narcotics and arrested four individuals. In 2024, the figure rose sharply with 176.406 kilograms seized and 125 arrests.
In 2025, authorities confiscated 128.132 kilograms of drugs and arrested 134 suspects. These operations reflect a continuous effort to prevent drugs from reaching students.
Officials said intelligence-led raids will continue to safeguard educational areas and curb illegal trafficking in Islamabad.
