Prime Minister’s Youth Program Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has announced the launch of a talent hunt programme for 23 different sports, as reported on Sunday.
Speaking to the media after the conclusion of the 13th Inter-School Gymnastics Championship in Lahore, Rana Mashhood said that creating a healthy environment is crucial for the promotion of sports.
He added that his presence at the event was to show support and encourage the organizations that helped make the championship possible.
Rana Mashhood also revealed plans to organize the first National Youth Games next year, saying that the talent hunt programme will help identify and nurture new sporting talent.
