The federal government has released the official notification for December 2025 holidays, bringing good news as two consecutive days off have been announced.
Thursday, December 25, 2025, will be observed nationwide as Quaid-e-Azam Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Pakistan’s founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Friday, December 26, 2025, has also been declared a public holiday specifically for Christians to celebrate Christmas.
This two-day break allows Christian employees to enjoy back-to-back holidays, while the general public will observe the national holiday on December 25.
