Pakistan Railways announces new winter train schedule nationwide

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has introduced a revised winter timetable for trains across the country, which came into effect on Wednesday (October 16).

The updated schedule includes slight changes in the departure timings of 16 trains, adjustments to certain stops, and the restoration of several previously suspended services.

According to the new timetable, three trains have had their stops at specific stations removed, while four discontinued trains have been reinstated.

Revised Train Timings:

  • Allama Iqbal Express will now leave Sialkot at 7:30 AM instead of 7:00 AM.
  • Narowal Passenger will depart at 7:25 AM instead of 7:00 AM.
  • Faiz Ahmed Faiz Passenger will now leave Narowal at 5:00 AM instead of 5:30 AM.
  • Awam Express will depart from Karachi at 8:00 AM, revised from 7:30 AM.
  • Shalimar Express from Lahore will now depart at 7:10 AM instead of 7:30 AM.

Additionally, nine trains that were previously given temporary halts have now been granted permanent stop status.

These include Rehman Baba Express, Karachi Express, Shalimar Express, Jaffar Express, Pak Business Express, Pakpattan Express, Tezgam, and Millat Express.
