Punjab boards to announce intermediate part-I results on October 15

LAHORE: The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has confirmed that the results for Intermediate Part-I (Class 11) will be announced on October 15 across the province.

According to officials, over 200,000 students appeared in the annual exams under the Lahore Board alone.

The results from all nine educational boards, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Multan, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Bahawalpur, will be released simultaneously at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Students can check their results through the respective board websites or via SMS.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has issued a notification to form anti-harassment committees in all public schools following the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The move aims to ensure a secure and respectful environment for female students.

As per the School Education Department, each committee will consist of three teachers, including at least one woman, and will handle complaints confidentially and impartially. The committees will ensure fair investigations, protect complainants, and regularly report to the District Education Authority (DEA).

All schools have been instructed to submit details of their committees to the department within 30 days.
