PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has opened applications for key posts of Chairmen, Secretaries, and Controllers of Examinations in various Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) across the province.
A notification from the Elementary and Secondary Education Department stated that permanent employees of the Establishment Department, Elementary & Secondary Education Department, and Higher Education Department can apply on a deputation basis.
The positions include Chairman for BISE Abbottabad and Malakand, Secretary for BISE Bannu and Swat, and Controller of Examinations for BISE Bannu.
Applicants must meet strict eligibility criteria: they should be permanent employees in the required BPS grade, below 56 years of age on the deadline, and free from any ongoing disciplinary proceedings.
The selection process will follow a merit-based system, taking into account professional experience, relevant training, academic qualifications, and past performance evaluations. Candidates will also undergo a competitive interview to assess leadership, governance, technical skills, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Officials encouraged interested applicants to apply without delay, stressing that these appointments are vital to the ongoing development and reforms in the education sector.
