KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has published its financial statements for FY25 along with the auditors’ report on its official website.
In line with Section 40(3) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956, the same statements and report have also been shared with the Federal Government and Parliament (Majlis-e-Shoora).
According to the report, the central bank recorded a net profit of Rs2,500 billion during the fiscal year. After necessary appropriations under the accounting framework and statutory obligations, a surplus of Rs2,428 billion was transferred to the Federal Government.
