The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has finalized the design for the country’s new currency notes.
This announcement was made by SBP Governor Jameel Ahmad during a press conference in Karachi, where he also shared the decision to keep the current interest rate unchanged.
He stated that the process of launching new currency notes is already in motion, and a design created by an international expert has been selected for the new series.

Ahmad added that work on the new notes will officially begin once the federal Cabinet grants its approval.
