KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan have reached a new record high, touching Rs364,900 per tola due to strong buying in the international market.
The price of 24-karat gold rose sharply by Rs3,700 in a single day, while the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs3,171 to reach Rs312,842.

Starting at Rs358,100 on 12th July, gold prices experienced small ups and downs, dipping to their lowest at Rs355,100 on 17th July before rising steadily again.
The sharp jump to Rs361,200 on 21st July set the stage for today’s record-breaking rate.
This upward trend reflects a combination of increased investor interest and possible global economic influences. The recent surge follows a period of stability, with prices holding firm at Rs361,200 per tola just a day earlier.
Silver has also seen an upward movement, with its price increasing by Rs46 per tola to reach Rs4,081.
