Gold price drops in Pakistan for 7th consecutive day

The price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs300 per tola on Monday, trading at Rs358,165 compared to Rs358,465 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs257 to Rs307,068, while 22-karat gold declined by Rs235 to settle at Rs281,489.

In contrast, silver prices saw a slight rise, with per tola rates climbing by Rs14 to Rs3,799, and 10 grams increasing by Rs12 to Rs3,257.

On the global front, gold prices slipped by $3 to $3,366 per ounce, whereas silver gained $0.14, reaching $36.15.
