Karachi still ranks among least livable cities in the world

Karachi has once again landed near the bottom of the global rankings, placing 170th out of 173 cities in the 2025 Global Liveability Index released by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).

Karachi’s low placement indicates persistent struggles in various essential services and urban management. Meanwhile, Vienna continues to set a global standard thanks to its top-tier health services, infrastructure, and cultural offerings.
