WASA announces water supply schedule in Lahore for Eidul Adha 2025

The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Lahore has released the tubewell operation schedule to guarantee uninterrupted water supply for residents during Eidul Adha 2025.

As per the official notification, tubewells will function in three time slots over the Eid holidays to maintain consistent water availability across the city.

Eidul Adha will be observed from June 7 to June 9 in Pakistan.

Water Supply Timings in Lahore During Eid:

On the first day of Eid, water will be supplied from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, again from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and finally from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

On the second day, the schedule will be slightly shorter in the morning, from 4:00 AM to 10:30 AM, while the afternoon and evening slots remain the same: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

WASA’s Managing Director shared that all directors have been tasked with surveying Eidgahs and mosques to ensure there are no water overflow issues and that complaints are addressed without delay.

He added that all field offices will remain active during the holidays, with staff deployed citywide to respond to any water-related concerns.

Instructions have also been given for immediate repairs if any machinery or tubewells encounter technical issues.

To further strengthen the response system, WASA confirmed that all operational staff will be working in three continuous shifts, and no employee will be allowed to leave during Eid to ensure smooth service for the public.
