Is war between Pakistan and India really possible?

Indo-Pak tensions escalated sharply after the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people. India blamed Pakistan. Prompting a strong rebuttal and a warning of an imminent Indian strike from Pakistan’s defence minister.

The rhetoric between the two countries intensified rapidly. Military activity increased along the Line of Control, including cross border firing and troop movements. Indian Prime Minister Modi reportedly authorized the army to act with full freedom.

The act raised alarms over a possible clash between the nuclear armed rivals. In contrast, Pakistani social media responded with wit, mocking Indian media and leadership. Memes and humorous posts went viral, reflecting resistance through humor.

The online tone stands in contrast to the grave situation on the ground, marked by outright humour. Diplomatic efforts are underway behind the scenes to end tensions. International stakeholders are urging both countries to show restraint.

The goal is to prevent a full scale conflict and restore stability. If things get more out of hand, there might be a possibility. All we can do  is wait for the next move from either of the two nations
