The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League is set to begin on Friday, April 11, in Rawalpindi, with defending champions Islamabad United facing two-time champions Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
This six-team tournament will feature 34 matches from April 11 to May 18, with Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium hosting 13 matches, including two Eliminators and the final, Rawalpindi hosting 11 matches, and Karachi and Multan each hosting five matches.
In preparation for the upcoming PSL X matches at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi, the Karachi police have announced a traffic and parking plan. The matches will be held on April 12, 15, 18, 20, and 21, 2025.
The traffic police have assured us that Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open in both directions.
Special parking arrangements have been made for fans attending the matches, and a traffic plan has been implemented to manage the expected congestion around the stadium.
Parking locations and routes:
National Coaching Centre/China Ground Parking:
For those coming from Karsaz, vehicles should take Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road, pass under the stadium flyover, and park at the National Coaching Centre/China Ground on Sir Shah Suleman Road.
For those coming from Millennium, vehicles should use Stadium Road (Peer Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi Road), turn right under the stadium flyover, and park at the National Coaching Centre/China Ground.
For those coming from Newtown, vehicles should proceed on Stadium Road, turn left after Aga Khan Hospital, and park at the National Coaching Centre/China Ground on Sir Shah Suleman Road.
Heavy Traffic Restrictions: Heavy traffic will not be allowed on the following routes:
- Sohrab Goth to NIPA
- Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square
- PPP Chowrangi to University Road
- Karsaz to the Stadium
- Millennium to New Town
- Stadium Signal to Hassan Square
Public Advisory: The public is advised to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and traffic police to avoid inconvenience.
It is recommended not to park vehicles or motorcycles on any service roads or main roads. Fans are urged to park their vehicles in the designated parking areas mentioned above.
