Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, says that no one would be able to demolish the economy of Pakistan, and all the events that were internationally linked with Pakistan would be happening as before without any definite changes.
While discussing the situation with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who had called to see him in Lahore on Sunday, he said that the situation was rapidly returning to normalcy, and the development of the economy and the nation’s prosperity were the top priorities for him and his government as of right now.
He also added that the political enemies were unable to make any sort of improvements in Pakistan’s economy. He further said that although the whole world acknowledges Pakistan’s economic policies, these political opponents want to hinder the country’s progress toward prosperity.
Shehbaz Sharif also pointed out that the government is fully focused on taking the best and highest measures for the security to ensure the safety of the people. He heartedly thanked the Interior Minister, the Islamabad Administration, and the Islamabad Police for maintaining law and order in the federal capital.
He also appreciated the Islamabad Police for their huge role in defending and shielding their people from the attack on Islamabad as well as the Pakistan Army, Punjab Police, and Rangers in maintaining law and order.
Shehbaz Sharif raised his hands in prayer for the highest ranks in heaven for the martyred Police Constable Hameed Shah, who sacrificed his life, protecting the lives and property of the public. He added that the nation will always remember his great sacrifice.
Expressing solidarity and words of comfort to the family of the martyred constable, the Prime Minister directed to taking care of the bereaved family members of the Shaheed.
The Interior minister, on the occasion, explained to the prime minister that major roads have been opened for traffic, and the situation is rapidly returning to normal. Besides, he assessed the repatriation of 56 Pakistani prisoners from Sri Lanka, who had safely reached the country on Sunday.
Mohsin Naqvi further informed that the Minister for Privatization, Abdul Aleem Khan, bore all the expenses for the return of Pakistani prisoners from Sri Lanka.
The Prime Minister appreciated and praised the efforts of Mohsin Naqvi and Abdul Aleem Khan for the return of prisoners from Sri Lanka.
