7-year-old son of Pakistani Army officer martyred in Indian attack

In a deeply tragic incident, 7-year-old Arz-e-Abbas, the son of Lieutenant Colonel Zaheer, lost his life as a result of unprovoked shelling by Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC).

The attack took place during the night between May 6 and 7 in parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, where civilian areas came under direct fire.

This heartbreaking loss highlights yet another instance of what many are calling cowardly aggression by Indian troops, with innocent civilians once again bearing the brunt.

“The Pakistani nation is grieving over the loss of yet another young life due to India’s repeated violations of ceasefire agreements.”

Cross-border shelling by Indian forces during the night appeared to deliberately target residential zones, with Arz-e-Abbas among the innocent victims.

This latest act, especially the targeting of children, has drawn strong condemnation for being a brutal and inhumane breach of international laws. The Pakistani military has pledged a firm and decisive response to honor the lives lost in this act of violence.
