KARACHI: Light rain and drizzle are expected in Karachi and various parts of Sindh on Wednesday evening and night, continuing into Thursday.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) stated that a seasonal low is present over northeast Balochistan, with strong monsoon winds entering the northern regions of the country. A new westerly system is also affecting upper areas.
Due to these weather conditions, light rain or drizzle is likely in Karachi and coastal parts of Sindh on Wednesday night, along with gusty winds in southeastern districts.
On Thursday, most of Sindh will experience humid weather, though isolated rain may fall in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, and Sanghar during the evening or night.
Karachi’s temperature is expected to reach between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius on Thursday, and between 30 and 32 degrees on Friday.
In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature is forecasted between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius on Thursday, and between 35 and 37 degrees on Friday.
Over the past 24 hours, most districts in Sindh experienced humid conditions. Dadu recorded the highest temperature in the province at 46 degrees, followed by Nawabshah at 43 degrees and Sukkur at 42 degrees.
In Karachi, the temperature reached 32 degrees, with morning humidity measured at 75 percent. Hyderabad recorded a high of 37 degrees with 74 percent humidity in the morning.
