A tragic road accident in Karachi claimed the lives of a family riding a motorcycle after a speeding trailer struck their vehicle near Keamari Gate No 17.
The incident has once again highlighted the increasing dangers of heavy traffic and reckless driving in the city.
Rescue officials reported that the accident occurred when a fast-moving 10-wheeler truck hit a motorcycle carrying a husband, wife, and their two-year-old child.
The impact was so severe that all three victims died on the spot. Authorities said the trailer driver fled the scene immediately after the crash, leaving the victims behind.
Police have launched a search operation to locate the absconding driver and seize the vehicle involved in the accident.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to a nearby hospital for legal formalities, while the damaged motorcycle was moved to a police post.
