ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Wednesday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I and Part-II First Annual Examination 2026 during a ceremony held in Islamabad.
Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui officially unveiled the results.
Speaking at the event, FBISE Chairman Prof Dr Ikram Ali Malik welcomed the guests and shared details about the examination process and the Board’s overall performance.
He said 292,831 students appeared in the SSC Part-I and Part-II annual examinations this year. For the smooth conduct of the exams, the Board set up 1,006 examination centres, deployed 2,012 supervisory staff members and appointed 6,996 invigilators.

The chairman added that 10,706 teachers applied for paper marking, while 4,855 examiners were assigned to assess answer sheets. He also said digital technology was introduced for paper marking for the first time.
He further informed the audience that 86 cases of unfair means were reported during the examinations.
According to the announced results, the overall pass percentage in SSC Part-I was 59.77 per cent, with 88,646 students passing out of 150,077 candidates who appeared. In SSC Part-II, 128,070 out of 141,653 candidates cleared the examination, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 91.33 per cent.
In the Science Group, Afeera Ijaz secured first position with 1,089 marks. Amna Nauman stood second with 1,088 marks, while Huzaifa Haider claimed third position with 1,086 marks.
In the Humanities Group, Fatima Zahra topped with 1,037 marks. Muhammad Maaz and Manaal Zahid shared second position after scoring 1,031 marks each, while Aneesa Nisar secured third position with 1,023 marks.
