The National Intelligence Fusion & Threat Assessment Center (NIFTAC) has introduced the Counter Terrorism Helpline 1719 to boost national security and encourage public vigilance.
The helpline offers citizens a direct and easy way to report any suspicious activity or potential threats. Officials said the initiative aims to enhance coordination between the public, government departments, and law enforcement agencies.
By promoting timely reporting, authorities hope to detect possible terrorist activities early and ensure a quicker, more effective response to emerging threats.
They added that the helpline will serve as a vital link for sharing intelligence across institutions. Information received through 1719 will be promptly analyzed and passed on to relevant agencies for immediate action, helping prevent incidents before they escalate.
