BIEK extends admission deadline for inter part-I

KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi has extended the last date for admissions into Inter part-I till August 8, as reported by ARY News.

Dr. Naveed Rab Siddiqui, the Director General of Colleges Sindh, shared that this extension was granted due to delays in the announcement of matric pre-engineering results in Karachi.

He explained that the late release of results had slowed down the admission process, though around 50 percent of students have already been successfully admitted to colleges across the city.

To make the process easier, Dr. Siddiqui said that help desks and facilitation centres have been set up in various colleges around Karachi to guide students during this extended period.

The BIEK has also provided an option for online enrollment. Students can register online by following these steps:

  • Click on the Online Enrollment Web Portal system
  • If you are registering for the first time, create an account using your email and password. Remember your login details for future corrections or updates.
  • After registering, update your profile with the required information.
  • Once the profile is complete, click on the enrollment button.
  • Fill in your academic details as per your matriculation record.
  • Upload a passport-size photograph with a blue background, your matric mark sheet, and your college admission receipt.
  • If you are coming from another board, you must also upload a permission letter from BIEK and a migration certificate from your previous board.
  • If you have completed O-Levels or are an international student, you will need to upload an equivalency certificate issued by IBCC instead of a migration certificate.
  • Once everything is uploaded, the system will generate a PDF of your enrollment form. Download and print it.
  • Submit the printed form as a hard copy to your respective college.
