The Government of Sindh has approved the academic calendar for the 2026 to 27 school year. The decision was taken in a meeting led by Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah. The schedule covers admissions, examinations, and holidays for schools across the province.
The new academic year will start on April 1, 2026. Admissions for classes 1 to 9 will take place from March 1 to March 31, 2026. Admissions for classes 11 and 12 under the Central Admission Policy will begin on June 1 and continue until the last week of July 2026.
Examinations for classes 9 and 10 are set to be held from March 30 to April 15, 2026. The results for class 10 will be announced on June 1, while class 9 results will be declared on June 15, 2026. Exams for classes 11 and 12 will be conducted from April 15 to April 30, 2026. Class 12 results will be released on June 15 and class 11 results on July 1, 2026.

Students in classes 1 to 3 will be promoted without examinations. Meanwhile, classes 4 to 8 will appear in exams scheduled from March 1 to March 15, 2026.
Summer vacations will be observed from June 1 to July 31, 2026, while winter holidays will fall between December 21 and December 31, 2026.
The approved calendar aims to provide a clear academic framework with timely examinations and a defined holiday schedule for schools throughout Sindh.
