Islamabad’s administration has issued revised winter school timings, which will be enforced from December 1 to January 31.
Single-shift schools will function from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with Friday closing at 1:15 PM. In double-shift schools, the morning session will run from 8:15 AM to 1:15 PM, while the evening shift will continue from 1:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
Schools have been instructed to make all necessary arrangements to ensure the new timings are followed smoothly.
Separately, the Balochistan government has announced its annual long winter break for colder areas, with schools closing from December 16 and reopening on March 1 due to severe weather conditions.
