Gold prices in Pakistan stayed steady on Friday with no change recorded in the local market.
The price of gold per tola held firm at Rs540,562 during the day. Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold remained unchanged at Rs463,444, according to figures released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
A day earlier on Thursday, gold per tola had settled at Rs. 540,562 after dropping by Rs700.
In the global market, gold prices were also stable at $5,178 per ounce, including a premium of $20. In contrast, silver prices moved upward, gaining Rs270 to close at Rs9,474 per tola.
