Gold prices in Pakistan held steady on Monday after a sharp rise over the weekend.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of gold remained at Rs359,800 per tola in the local market, while the rate for 10 grams stayed unchanged at Rs308,470.
On Saturday, gold had jumped by Rs4,100 per tola, reaching its current level of Rs359,800.
In the international market, gold was also stable at $3,371 per ounce, with a local premium of $20 added, according to the association.
Silver prices showed no change either, with the per-tola rate steady at Rs4,121.
