With monsoon rains continuing to cause destruction across the country, the number of deaths from weather-related incidents rose to eight over the last 24 hours on Thursday.
According to a fresh report from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Punjab remains the most severely affected province this season, recording the highest number of deaths and injuries.
Among the latest reported casualties, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa confirmed three deaths and five people injured. Two lives were lost in Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan, while one person died in Sindh.
