Zardari welcomes Saudi investors to explore opportunities in Pakistan

President Asif Ali Zardari has invited Saudi investors to consider investing in different sectors of Pakistan’s economy. He made this offer during a meeting with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, who met him in Islamabad on Friday.

The President highlighted that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia hold similar views on both regional and global matters, and consistently support one another in international forums.

He said the bond between the two nations is deeply rooted in shared faith and mutual trust, and stressed the importance of further strengthening these ties for the benefit of both countries. President Zardari also thanked Saudi Arabia for always standing by Pakistan in difficult times.

He requested the ambassador to convey his warm regards and best wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The meeting was also attended by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
