No rain today in Karachi, windy conditions ahead

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported that light rain and drizzle were expected in Karachi during the morning hours. However, changing weather conditions prevented the clouds from producing rainfall, and the sky remained clear.

The PMD added that cloud cover may return later in the afternoon, but no significant rain or drizzle is expected for the rest of the day.

This update follows earlier forecasts that predicted rain and thunderstorms in Karachi due to a westerly weather system. Despite its presence, the system had only a limited effect on the city on Wednesday.

The PMD also said that light rain may occur in the suburban areas of Karachi on Thursday. Strong winds are expected during this time and may affect routine activities in some areas.

Officials advised citizens to stay updated with the latest weather alerts, especially those living in the outskirts and vulnerable locations.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in the city is expected to remain between 30°C and 32°C, with partly cloudy conditions likely to continue. The weather department will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if there are any significant changes.
