The federal government on Friday raised the price of high-speed diesel by Rs1.91 per litre while keeping petrol prices unchanged for a three-day period from October 24 to 26, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division of the Ministry of Energy, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products under the government’s pricing mechanism.
The price of high-speed diesel has increased from Rs391.75 to Rs393.66 per litre following the latest adjustment.
Meanwhile, the price of petrol, also known as motor spirit, remains unchanged at Rs377.71 per litre. The revised rates came into effect on October 24 and will remain in place until October 26, 2026.
The Petroleum Division attributed the adjustment to changes in international market conditions, including fluctuations in Platts rates, premiums and other incidental costs.
The notification also stated that further information about petroleum prices could be accessed through OGRA’s official website.
