More than 70,000 vehicles enter Murree during Eid holidays

During the Eid holidays, more than 70,000 tourist vehicles entered Murree, according to Chief Traffic Officer Murree Imran Razaq.

He shared that more than 200 traffic officers and personnel were on duty to guide visitors and keep traffic flowing smoothly through the hill station.

Even with the large number of tourists, the authorities handled the situation well and managed over 70,000 vehicles throughout the Eid days. He said this was possible because of careful planning and proper implementation of the traffic management strategy, which helped avoid any unpleasant incidents.

The CTO also mentioned that more than 11,740 tourists received assistance and guidance in various ways during their stay.

He praised the efforts of the traffic police, saying they carried out their responsibilities with great dedication and went beyond their regular duties, despite being away from their families during the holidays.

To acknowledge their hard work, he announced that certificates of appreciation would be awarded to traffic wardens and other staff members who showed outstanding performance.
