Emirates group to hire over 17,000 employees worldwide this year

The Emirates Group has announced that it plans to hire over 17,000 new employees this financial year, expanding its workforce across Emirates Airline, dnata, and other subsidiaries.

The group is offering thousands of job openings in several major departments, including cabin crew, pilots, engineering, information technology, human resources, finance, sales, customer service, ground operations, and catering.

Since 2022, Emirates has already brought in more than 41,000 professionals, with around 27,000 joining roles in operational areas. The company’s total workforce has now grown to nearly 121,000.

To help meet its recruitment goals, Emirates will conduct over 2,100 hiring events in 150 cities around the world, aiming to attract top talent in aviation, tech, engineering, and customer service.

Special sessions will also be held in Dubai to encourage UAE nationals, particularly students and recent graduates, to join the company.

Dnata, one of the group’s major subsidiaries, is planning to hire over 4,000 specialists in catering, ground services, and cargo handling.

“We are on the lookout for exceptional talent to help shape the future of aviation, support our innovation-driven culture, and contribute to our continued growth,” said Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group.

Emirates shared that it has received over 3.7 million job applications across its different brands. This strong interest is credited to its global reputation, tax-free salaries, attractive benefits, and investment in training and career development.

Employee perks at Emirates include:

  • Free flight tickets each year for staff and their families
  • Medical and life insurance
  • Profit-sharing opportunities
  • Discounts at hundreds of stores, hotels, and lifestyle venues
  • Reduced rates for air travel and cargo

This large-scale hiring plan shows the Group’s aim to stay at the forefront of the aviation industry while offering strong career growth for skilled professionals globally.
