The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced that it will remain closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2025, in observance of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas.
“SBP will remain closed on December 25, 2025 being public holiday on the occasions of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas as declared by the Government of Pakistan,” the central bank tweeted.
In addition to SBP, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will also remain closed on December 25, following the same holiday schedule.
