The Sindh government has officially announced four public holidays for Eid al-Adha across the province.
According to a notification issued by the provincial government, all government offices and public institutions in Sindh will remain closed from May 26 to May 29 for Eid al-Adha, giving people a long break to celebrate the occasion with their families.
Earlier, the federal government had also announced Eid holidays nationwide. A notification issued by the Cabinet Division stated that federal offices will observe holidays from May 26 to May 28, making it a three-day break at the national level.
With Sindh extending the holidays by one more day, residents of the province will enjoy a longer break compared to other parts of the country.

Eid al-Adha, known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is among the most important Islamic occasions. The festival is celebrated with special prayers, animal sacrifice, family gatherings, and charitable acts throughout Pakistan.
In the days before Eid, authorities are expecting a rise in travel activity and increased crowds at livestock markets as people continue preparations for the celebrations.
