The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority in Lahore has announced the official date sheet for the Grade 8 Annual Examination 2026. The exams will be held over four days in March.
As per the released schedule, the Grade 8 examinations will begin on March 9, 2026, and conclude on March 12, 2026. All papers will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The first exam will be Mathematics on Monday, March 9. Urdu will follow on Tuesday, March 10, while English is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11. The final paper, Science, will take place on Thursday, March 12.
The authority stated that schools will conduct the remaining Grade 8 subjects through the IBS facility under the School Based Assessment model. It also mentioned that the timetable for other subjects, along with the End of Year Term Assessment 2026 for other classes, will be shared later.
In its guidelines, the authority has strictly prohibited students from bringing calculators, mobile phones, smart watches, or any other electronic devices into the examination center. Students have been instructed to arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam begins.
Candidates must carry their B Form and roll number slip to enter the center. They are also required to bring a blue or black ballpoint pen and a clipboard. Those appearing for the Mathematics exam must bring their own geometry box.
The authority further instructed students to use only the official answer booklet provided for both the objective and subjective sections. No extra sheets will be issued. Students will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the paper ends.
