Gold prices in the international market have risen to $5,108 per ounce.
In local markets, gold and silver prices in Pakistan have increased for the fourth straight day as global and domestic demand remains strong amid tensions between Iran and United States.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs7,100 and reached Rs533,562.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also went up by Rs6,087, bringing it to Rs457,443. In global trading, gold price per ounce increased by $71 and touched $5,108.
Silver prices also moved upward in the local market. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs374 and reached Rs8,948 in Pakistan.
