German Embassy suspends visa services in Islamabad for two days

The German Embassy in Islamabad has announced that its visa section will remain temporarily closed due to road closures in the capital linked to security arrangements for the next round of US Iran negotiations expected next week.

According to a statement shared by German Ambassador to Pakistan Ina Lepel on X (formerly Twitter), the visa section will remain closed from 20 April 2026 until at least 21 April 2026.

The ambassador advised applicants not to visit the visa section during this time. The embassy will rearrange all scheduled appointments.
