The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has raised the price of kerosene oil by Rs34.33 per liter, taking the new rate to Rs276.66 per liter.
The revised prices were announced through an official notification issued on Friday. Previously, kerosene oil was priced at Rs242.33 per liter.
Along with the increase in kerosene prices, the government has also revised petrol and high-speed diesel rates under the latest petroleum price adjustment.
Petrol has become Rs5.44 per liter more expensive, bringing the new price to Rs316.15 per liter.

High-speed diesel has seen a much larger increase of Rs31.05 per liter. Following the revision, the new diesel price stands at Rs354.35 per liter.
According to the OGRA notification, the revised petroleum prices came into effect on July 18 and will remain applicable until July 20.
